I can not express enough how much this trip surpassed my expectations, not to mention we didn’t have to be on a boat with a bunch of strangers, it was our own private boat for the day. When my husband first asked about booking a trip, I was very hesitant because I suffer from very high boat anxiety, which prevents me from doing many great things on the water!
From the moment we left, Captain Spurgeon was great! He never once made me feel like my anxiety was an issue, and was very attentive and caring!! He made me very comfortable the entire trip, to the point that I could actually ride without holding on. (Which is a big deal for me!!!) He took us out to snorkel the reef and then we ventured to the sand bar, where I got to paddle board for the first time, which was amazing!!! And we got lunch to boot!!
The ride back was just as beautiful going through the mangroves. So BREATHTAKING!!
