The Day Your Way
When we meet for the beginning of your adventure your captain will get an idea of what you would like to do or see for your time with us on the water. Within minutes your captain will be your adventure director planning out the trip to try and get it all in with weather and seasonal conditions in mind. Sit back and enjoy the day as it unfolds.
Spend the day exploring, learning, sunsets, sightseeing, snorkeling, island hopping, sunbathing, picnicking, beach combing, swimming, gunk holing, bird watching, and fishing. A great experience for the whole family or group.
Schedule a day with us to go do both, snorkeling and fishing in one trip. We put the two best parts together in one boating charter. We go where it’s calm and fun. Do a lot of snorkeling, do a lot of fishing or try a little of both its your choice and your day. This trip helps cater to groups that want to do both but have the budget for only one or the other.

Included in charter pricing are fishing licenses, tackle, bait, fuel, ice, snorkel gear, food, nonalcoholic drinks & paddle boarding. We travel about 40 miles for the day during our excursions Tipping is not included in the price. 15-20% is customary for good service or what is in your budget.
What to Bring: We provide a supply of bottled water, Gatorade, and Coca-Cola. We suggest bringing any specialty drinks that can be placed in one of our onboard coolers. We also recommend bringing hats, sunscreen, and sunglasses.
Sea Sickness can ruin a fun day of excursions. If this is your first time on the ocean or you are prone to sea sickness, we recommend asking your doctor about a prescription anti-nausea patch such as Scopolamine. Charters returning to the dock early upon clients’ request will be charged the full amount for the charter booked.
Possible Excursion Idea:
Come enjoy a day your way. Choose from Snorkeling, Fishing, Paddleboarding, and lunch at the sand bar. Let Captain Spurgeon cater to your water adventure needs and kick back and enjoy all that the keys have to offer. We offer daily snorkel trips to the reefs of Pennekamp, mosquito banks, white banks dry rocks, and the Christ of the Abyss. If you would like to take full advantage of all there is to offer, book an entire day with us and you can enjoy all the activities including a delicious lunch at the sand bar!! This is a private charter, so the day will be planned according to your needs. We will visit reefs that are not commonly visited by the big boat tour companies out of Key Largo. This will be an experience as if you were on your own boat but with a Captain. So you just sit back and enjoy!! Didn’t bring your snorkeling gear? No problem!! We have what you need on board for adults and children. Fresh water on board for once you’re done playing in the ocean and want to rinse off! Cancellation Policy: Customers can cancel or modify their booking up to 7 days before the trip date free of charge. If the trip is canceled or modified later, or in the event of a no-show will be charged a fee of $250. Any weather-related cancellations will not incur a fee, however, weather cancellations will be determined solely by the Captain on the morning of the trip. Charters returning to the dock early upon clients’ request will be charged the full amount for the charter booked.
